Olga is a visual designer based in Boston. Mrs. Vanegas is the founder and principal designer of Intercreativa, a successful graphic and web design studio created in 1999 in Guatemala. With studios now in Guatemala City and Boston, she specializes in design for international aid organizations and humanitarian efforts, as well as on branding and design for large and small companies and organizations in the US and Latin America.
She has been the lead designer on national humanitarian campaigns in Guatemala with the Pan-American Health Organization, United Nations Development Programme, United Nations Volunteers and the World Bank, among others. She has produced logos, marketing materials, and branding for organizations and corporate clients including Prometheus Research, Sustainable Business Network of Greater Boston, Community Lawyers, Eco-Recycling Solutions International, and Wal-Mart Central America. She has a bachelor's degree in design from Universidad Rafael Landívar in Guatemala City and has taken illustration and design courses at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has over twelve years of experience working with Spanish and English materials for print and the web.
MELISSA LARIN, exhibition designer Melissa is a partner and the creative and executive director of Intercreativa Guatemala. She has over ten years of experience as a visual designer, specializing in exhibition design. In addition to her work as a graphic designer, she has been involved with major redesign projects for cultural institutions and museums in Guatemala, such as the reinstallation of the Maya Pre-Classic Hall at the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology and the design of the new wing of the Miraflores Museum in Guatemala City, as well as related projects for the Metropolitan Cultural Center and Paiz Foundation, among others. She has an undergraduate degree in graphic design from the Universidad Landivar in Guatemala and a master’s degree in exhibition design from Ramon Llull University in Barcelona.
VALERIA MARTIN, visual and interactive designer Valeria has worked successfully on corporate, product, package and advertising design with over ten years of experience, providing a fresh and unique perspective towards design. She specializes in interactive media, managing information complexity and designing visual interfaces that are usable and testable. A concept-driven creative, she likes to explore all the new possibilities for sending your message. She has a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and a master’s degree in Internet and Multimedia Design. She has also taken web and interactive design courses at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
